Made with aggressive styling combined with comfortable cushioning and support, the 749 features N-FUSE® technology to provide you with superior cushioning that keeps you going mile upon mile.
Developed for the multi-terrain runner seeking mild stability control, the 749 has a single density Medial Post and ABZORB® cushioning (enhanced heel and forefoot shock absorption) in the heel and forefoot as well as a Stability Web (An arch support that’s both rigid and lightweight while preventing midfoot flex) for complete comfort.
The 749 medial wedge is made with a higher than normal density C-CAP midsole material extending from the heel which provides pronation control.
For downhill runs, the 749 have an N-lock system, which is integrated lacing and webbing system that provides optimal fit, support and security for the midfoot.
The 749 use ACTEVA Light, a premium lightweight midsole material which offers superior cushioning and a lower rate of compression set. 12% lighter than ACTEVA and 24% lighter than C-CAP.
Underfoot Ndurance, the rubber compound for maximum durability in high wear areas of the heel gives durability, and the lugged outsole for running both on and off road on helps keep your foot comfortable all day.

used for trail running. enough cushioning on heel on the tarmac and for a heavy 90kg runner. good grip on forefoot for climbing, wet grass and mud. maybe not for the fells. pretty good shoe and good price.

The shoes are very light and comfortable to run in, not had them long enough to determine their wear rate but they grip well on many surfaces from hard-pack/gravel to mud/snow. Definitely worth a look if wanting an all round show to run in varied terrain.

THIS SHOE IS COMFORTABLE LIGHT, BUT IS NOT BEST EVER ONCE OFF TARMAC. IT IS UNSTABLE POORLY MADE AND AFTER ONE TRIP INTO THE HILLS THE SOLE STARTED TO COME UNSTUCK...STEER CLEAR AND SPEND THE EXTRA 20 QUID ON A BETTER SHOE
