THis bag is incredibly awesome. We used to have a ridiculous lightweight double bag - nonsense! These babies really do wh tthey say - keep you sooooooo warm. Agreed, if you are hiking/sleeping out/going skin walking then this is NOT the bag for you - it is too heavy with all that loft, but for camping in confort, you bet your sweet dreams.

Bought this sleeping bag for wild camping but way to big (size and weight) for backpacking.
Probably the best sleeping bag if your carrying in the boot of a car, but utter dog doodoo if you intend to carry it in a ruck sack.
Rab mountain hardware et al, dont seem to make leight weight compact sleepingbags... crackers.
