Maximum warmth and comfort, with minimum weight for mountain use.
The MONTANE® Prism Jacket
extremely light and offers maximum warmth with minimum weight. Made from Pertex Microlight Rip-stop
fabric, it's water repellent, windproof and breathable.
Using Primaloft Eco 40g insulation
the body will be kept warm from the elements and as it is ultra light it is hassle free to store away in warmer conditions.
The reversed full front zip allows the body to be fully ventilated when it is warm and provides protection when it is cold.
The adjustable draw-cord hem and elasticated cuffs ensure a close fit to the body but give freedom of movement.
2 double insulated chest pockets and insulated hood with non-whip face aperture draw-cords keep the head and hands as protected as the body, and in dark conditions the 3M Scotchlite reflective flashes allow for visibility.
This highly breathable and insulated jacket is ideal for the active man who enjoys cold outdoor activities.

Not blown away., 11 December 2016
By Ian (Norfolk)
This is an ok jacket. I have found I have to really have to think about layering when wearing it.I have not been impressed by it's thermal quality for its size( compared to much thinner garments I have) and for the cost there are better jackets available. It is not a go to jacket for expeditions for me, more of dog walking in mid autumn. I like its pacability but as I said it doesn't come with me on expeditions so haven't needed to. The hood would fit a helmet well. The pokers fit hands with gloves well and the zippers have great tabs for use with gloves.
As I said an Ok jacket.

As all previous reviewers. A very light and warm jacket.
BE ADVISED THAT THE PICTURE OF THE JACKET STUFFED INTO THE RIGHT POCKET IS SHOWING IT AS BLUE, WHEN IT SHOULD BE ORANGE FROM THE INNER LINING.
Montane Prism jacket, 20 November 2016

Excellent jacket- last week saw the first hard frosts of the year so the Prism was on for my walks. First impressions are it's extremely light and bulk free- due to this I was a little sceptical of how warn it would keep me! No need to have any concerns as at near zero degrees ,the walking was fine and I never felt cold all day. The old saying- if your feet are cold put what on- it with the Montane Prism, just pull up the hood which again is so light you forget it's up but it's more than effective for cold Wintery days All in all a superb product.

I bought the jacket for personal use and love it. Easy to slip on and off , very warm and dries so quickly. I love it.

Prism jacket rocks., 01 August 2016

One of the best bits of kit I own full stop. Very warm and light. Performs well in all conditions. I have used it in freezing weather over a base layer. Also under a shell in the rain. In the winter months I carried it with me across snowdonia and if the temp dropped or I stopped the prism came out and was on. Even in the rain this keeps you warm over your waterproofs so no need to take layers off to get this working. Two of my sons bought them after trying mine out. Stuffs away into the pocket and doubles as a lightweight pillow. Highly recommended. There are probably about 6 weeks if the year in the UK when this wouldn't be worth having in your pack.
