Montane's Feaherlite Smock is constructed from ultra-light yet protective Pertex ripstop fabrics, and
packable down to the size of a small apple for easy transportation.
The underarm fabric is designed specifically with Pertex Microlight Cross Ripstop for extra abrasion resistance.
It has a drop-tail design, so you'll find it easy to perch yourself somewhere for a quick rest without getting wet, and features reflective logos to help your visibility in darker conditions.
The Featherlite Smock has elasticated cuffs and hem, helping to make it
completely windproof.
It comes with it's own stuff sac, handy to stick in your pocket or attach to your pack, and be prepared when you're out on the Go.

this jacket is one of the most versatile bits of kit i have ever owned, i use mine for running, mountain biking & climbing ! If you want a completly waterproof jacket then i would look elsewhere as this is only shower proof but put this on with a good quality baselayer and if its a bit drizzly and windy this jacket is spot on all year round ! i love it and it is always in my backpack cant rate it highly enough!

Montane has provided another great piece of technical clothing. Windproof, breathable, extremely light, fits in its own stuff sack and reduces to the size of an apple!
With a good base layer underneath it will keep you warm on those windy days. The only downside is it is only weather resistant. Anything more than a short light shower and you will get wet!
If you require the jacket in a waterproof version Montane do offer alternatives.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this jacket.
