Not that great, 08 September 2016
By Tris (Staffs)
I was disappointed with this one after previously enjoyed the Chicken Curry and Pasta Bolognese.
Despite me having used the correct amount of boiling water and having left it for the correct time, the meat was hard and not hydrated.
The only plus point is that it's filling... Felt like I'd swallowed a cobble stone!
Not too good, 16 July 2014
After walking a day in the pouring rain I was looking forwards to a nice, hot, simple dinner which, according to the good reviews, tasted good. The meat in it was solid and didn't taste anything like what it should be. The sauce and mash were okay for a few bites but then started to taste bad and sickly. I had to throw this meal away as I couldn't finish it.

This is really very good food, serve in the bag so no fuss, just boiling water. Really really tasty. Worth the money
Not bad at all, 18 February 2013
By Phil (Sheffield)
When cooked, this is pretty much mashed potatoes with mince, onions and gravy. It is pretty tasty, and wasn't unpleasant in the way I remember dehydrated food from years ago in either taste or texture. I cooked it in the trekmates cookbox, so I decanted it into a sandwich bag before I left. Doing that it weighs very little (about 90-100g I think) and takes up almost no room. I have had more adventurous (pun intended) flavours in dehydrated food, but it was more expensive. For the price this is not bad at all
