Info

With a tough sole and a mesh upper, the Merrell Moab Ventilator is a breathable shoe ideal for all-day use in the outdoors.

The upper is made with both Dura Leather and a breathable Ventilator Mesh, complete with an Aegis® anti-microbial mesh lining for additional comfort and odour-resistance. This comination gives a breathable shoe that's also supportive and durable. A bellows toungue pads the top of the foot and stops grit and gravel getting into the shoe around the laces.

A Vibram Multi-Sport sole made with grippy TC5+ rubber ensures a stable footing on slippery or loose terrain, while the synthetic leather toe and heel bumpers help to protect your feet from knocks and keep the shoes looking good.

On the inside, the Moab Ventilator boasts a compression molded EVA midsole and Air Cushion heel to partially absorb impact shocks and cushion your feet. A molded nylon arch shank and Ortholite® Anatomical Footbed stiffen the sole and support the foot, preventing your arches from collapsing. Together this enables your feet to work for longer without getting sore and tired - a great feature for multi-day hikes in warmer weather.

A versatile shoe, the Moab Ventilator is ready to handle any terrain. Because these are shoes, not boots, they are best suited to low inclines and walking on trails or paths. If this is your aim then the hard wearing Moab Ventilator Shoes are an ideal choice.

Mens Merrell Moab ventilated shoes, 07 January 2015
By Woody (Sri Lanka)
Bought for traveling abroad, had less than one month, and the materiel next to the rubber toe protected torn in the same place on each shoe.

Not done any serious walking or off the beaten track. Overall disappointed. Will be returning ASAP

More comfortable than my slippers!, 16 December 2014
By Maximus (Hyde)
I bought these shoes over 18 months ago and they were comfortable right out of the box. I wear them for pretty much all of my outdoor activities when it's dry and they are even more comfortable now! They were recommended to me by a member of the sales team at the Stockport store and I'm glad I took his advice. Thanks pal, good advice = happy repeat customer. The only downside is taking them off when I get home......

Great shoes, 17 November 2014
By Rob from Norfolk (Norfolk)
Just about worn out my second pair of these and will purchase my third pair later this week all being well. Practically live in these shoes as they are so comfortable. Only minor gripe is that the rubber toe protection cracks after a while and the fabric inside the heel wears through to the plastic heel protection. Having said that I do wear them most days so probably shouldn't be too critical. Best thing is that you get them for less if you look for competitors prices online and get Go Outdoors to price-match +10% off.

Well Travelled, 05 October 2014
By Linky (Newcastle upon Tyne)
Bought these as an everyday shoe but so good I have taken them everywhere with me, Everest Base Camp, Tibet, up Kilimanjaro and the Serengeti. I don' like Goretex liners so these are perfect for those like my that don't want glammy feet or need to be able to dry your footwear in the field
