The Mammut® FeetMap System addresses the very different zones of the foot: those that sweat, that feel the cold and that are pressure-sensitive. Mammut® FeetMap locates cushioning, warming, cooling, slip and nonslip lining materials in all the right places.

Memo Foam
Premium quality foam cushioning which is worked into the instep, shin, and ankles of many Mammut models. The foam has excellent elasticity and returns to its original shape after being subject to intensive loads.

Scale Technology
Together with the proven flexible ribs, the scalelike arrangement of the lugs on this hiking sole ensure maximum grip on all kinds of terrain and rounded, gentle rolling behaviour.

Rolling Concept
The patented Mammut sole concept with customized support and cushioning to support natural foot roll, and thus prevent fatigue (danger of twisting).

Liquid Rubber Protection
Zones featuring Liquid Rubber reinforcements safeguard the footwear against abrasion and damage. This rubber is applied when wet and is lighter than conventional rubber rands.

Disappointing boots, 12 September 2016
By J Meikle (East Lothian)
I bought these boots to walk the West Highland Way. They too little to no braking in & fitted my feet very well. However they leak, very badly, lite rain & my feet were wet! Then the sole came away from the upper. I returned them for testing & repair to Go outdoors, however they came back as not within the guarantee! They were now just over a year old (guarantee 2yrs) to cut a long story short I dealt with Mammut direct, sent then photos & spoke with them directly.... The best they offered was £10 off another pair of I don't think so! I was so pleased with the fit, shame the boot wasn't up to the Scottish SUMMER. Won't be buying Mammut out of princeable ever again...shocking disappointment!

Light and comfy, 03 September 2016
By Cherry B (Middlesbrough)
The most comfortable boots I have ever worn. Have always previously worn Meindl but these suit me better. Light weight but feel safe and have survived tough walking in Scotland, Lakes and Yorkshire. I have had them a year and wear them every week at least once and there are no signs of the cracking etc mentioned in previous reviews - but I do treat then to an occasional dose of leather food to keep the uppers pliable.

Very, Very poor, although comfortable., 16 November 2015
By Walker (Watlington)
I have had these boots for about two years and their usage has been, at best, moderate. In that time the leather has split deeply on both boots, across the toes and around the base, and two of the lacing eyes have popped off. These boots are simply not durable enough for anything other than a ramble around the local park, in the dry.

Not durable enough, 27 July 2015
By Bucko (Horncastle)
Bought these 5 weeks ago and have done Yorkshire 3 peaks twice , 6 Dales challenge plus Hellvelyn Striding Edge/Swirrel Edge. Around 80 miles in total and already the sole is starting to come away on both boots. The fit is also not ideal if you've very narrow feet like myself even using green superfeet insoles. I also found the padding insufficient on the ankle. The sole unit is also too thin and insufficiency rigid as I could feel rocks through it especially on the rougher sections on the 3 peaks. Ok'ish on trails but not a proper hill walking boot in my opinion.

Boots for walking, 23 April 2015
By Redlady (Cheshire)
Went in to get walking socks & try different boots from the pair I bought a week ago. Noticed pair of Mammut left on seat so tried them on wow talk about fitting like a slipper. Adam was extremely helpful. Wore them for a walk the next day with no problems apart from a little pinching on left toe area but always have that. No blisters & memory foam heel great idea only reason gave 4 stars is now notice they have gone down in price!
