Very pleased, 02 February 2015

I wore these literally from the box for a 40km walk over several mountains. I bought them on the strength of their comfort and light weight as I didn't have time to wear them in, and they were perfect. I've done many miles in them since and all good.
ok, but leak after a bit, 10 December 2014

really comfortable and light weight boot, been used about once a week for 4 or 5 months and been fine, not leaked and so light, really impressed. Just come to the lakes and they leak like a sieve, day two of our week away and soaking wet and cold feet! The gore liner should last longer than this....
Were great for me!, 25 November 2014

Been wearing these for a few months now and they're still in perfect condition - no signs of failure anywhere.
Waterproofing works IF you keep re-proofing them after every couple of walks, as is the case with all fabric boots, and even a lot of leather ones.
Scrambled up Crib Goch (at Snowdon) in horribly wet conditions, no water got in.
The best thing about these boots is the feel/comfort - they feel like a 'house shoe' - I actually wear them in the street and to work etc. They allow your ankles to flex but provide enough support. They are so lightweight it feels like there's no resistance at all moving your feet, which is great for those long slow ascents.
They have a few bad reviews which worried me a bit but I risked it anyway, and am happy!
Poor build quality, 16 June 2014

After one Munro (path to the top) the sole at the toe gard has peeled to give a 2cm gap between the sole and the Gray inner sole rubbish boot

I dog walk around five miles every day and do the od twenty miler a month.Usually I go for High Tec or Karrimore which last about six months per pair. I was advised to spend more money and the boots would last longer. So these are my first pair of boots I have spent more than £30 on.
Initially, comfortable from the box, however, three weeks of daily use has all but worn the outer heel down! I have had a £20 pair of HiTec's that have lasted six months. I took them back to the store where staff said they would have to send them back to the manufactors for testing. seventeen days later I got a call from the store stating that the boots were fine but, i "heavily over pronated". so would not replace them! very, very, disapointed! very angry! ...A waste of money.
