A rechargeable head torch with a spotlight beam that can be widened to illuminate a wide area.
Ideal for the environmentally conscious, the Led Lenser SEO® 7R LED headlamp is rechargeable, and gives you excellent adaptable light.
The Advanced Focus System (AFS) lets you widen the beam and illuminate a large area, or focus in for a narrow 'spotlight' style beam.
An innovative dimming function regulates the output of the light power with regards to the reflecting light, so any blare effect can be avoided.

Review update, 14 April 2016
By Diator (TEWKESBURY)
I thought I should update my review of 11 March 2016. Both torches were returned to Ledco at my cost (minimal) after contacting them about the problems. They were going to see if they could repair them, they could not as I received two new head torches within a few days!
Suggests to me that there may well be a known issue. Still I cannot fault them on their customer service. Time will tell how long these two last.
Build issues?, 11 March 2016

I had one of these for a year or so, used pretty much daily in all weathers with it tilted downwards. It was switched on and off a lot.
The beam is excellent, the focussing great and the rechargeable battery has a long life as long as you used the reduced light mode which was plenty bright enough, otherwise 5 hours is about right for the full beam.
However it failed after a year or so, which is worse than the cheapest piece of rubbish I have ever bought. It was noticeable on rainy days that the problems started so I am guessing having it tilted downwards allows water to ingress to parts they should not.
Replaced it with an SE03 as it took the rechargeable battery, this too has failed (less than 6 months this time) for I assume for the same reasons, though I had taken to leaving the light on permanently in case the switch was the problem.
I don't think I will be getting another as they are expensive and not really fit for purpose. A headtorch in the rain should not be an issue.
This expensive headtorch left me in the dark, 29 January 2016

After relatively little use, the switch failed. At first the torch kept switching off. Now the switch is totally unusable. Luckily it failed at home and not halfway down a mountain! Back to Petzl for me.
Outstanding piece of kit, 02 October 2015
As others have observed, this is not a cheap piece of kit, but is worth every penny.
The torch comes with a lithium ion battery and charger, and three AAA alkaline batteries. The L-I battery charges fairly rapidly, and should last long enough for all except those who want to spend all night on the hill.
I gave mine a test recently, when I was photographing the sunset from the Salt Cellar on Derwent Edge. I stayed up there until the last of the red sky had turned to night, then set off on my walk down to Cutthroat Bridge on the A57. The first half of the walk, along the edge, was quite straightforward, as the path is well-defined and easy underfoot, but the torch came into its own along the rutted and muddy sections of path on the last mile or so. The beam was bright enough and sufficiently wide for me to easily find my way, and I'll always keep this in my pack for future walks, along with three spare AAA batteries for emergencies.

Fantastic head torch, had a fair few Petzl`s in the past but bought this for the auto brightness and the powerful 220 lumens for the price, its so bright and much brighter than any of the high priced tika head lights. not as comfortable on your head as a petzl but I'm just being picky there. Amazing and a very long warranty on it.
