Comfy and dry, 30 December 2012
By Mother (Darlington)
I am 5ft 7ins but had to get the Short length to fit. I agree with the other reviews about the length of the waist to crotch being a bit long. Having said that I am very happy. I bought the trousers for dog walking in the winter, but now want to wear them for all my outdoor tasks. They are water resistant, so if I want to nip out in drizzel for less than an hour, I dont have to bother with overtrousers as well. I feel another pair coming on!

Keep you warm, and are quite comfortable, but as has been said in other reviews the crotch area can limit movement when really climbing up a steep hill

These trousers are really warm but have a really low crotch which looks daft and can limit movement when making scrambling/climbing type moves. I like the fact that I have finally been able to get trousers the right length so that I don't stand on them but they are really on the large side for the size they are meant to be. If they actually sized them correctly then maybe they'd sit high enough up on my torso that the baggy crotch problem would be eliminated. Not bad at the price but wouldn't have paid full whack for them.
