Great carrier!, 28 August 2011
By Rob (Hawthorn)
Fantastic piece of kit and that's the opinion of my little 1 year old who rides in it. We've used it since she was about 6 months and she can't stop smiling and giggling when she's being carried. So comfy, she can actually fall a sleep when being carried.
Now, for Daddies review. The carrier is fully adjustable and sits well on the hips to distribute the weight. Being a big carrier, its best to have assistance when lifting the carrier (and child) on to and off your back.
Read the specs for the carrier and you'll understand its the one you need, if you are into a ramble with your child.

Deuter Kid Comfort III Baby Carrier Reviews, 05 March 2011

Having done a lot of research I opted for this one. I am 6ft tall and my husband is 6ft 4, we have used this carrier on 3 occasions so far but we have only had it 4 days. It is really comfy for both child and parent. so much so my little girl fell asleep. the raincover is easy to use and the backpack is easy to adjust. Today we have been fell walking and we had no problems. I suffer from a bad back and even I carried my daughter with no pain. can't wait to get out again soon. I love it although expensive it is worth every penny.

The limo of Papooses, 14 January 2011

Introducing offspring to the Outdoors is an awesome experience, but you have to know the limits of their endurance and when all else fails you need to get them on your back and enjoying the view from a chauffeured perspective. After trying a couple of other models which really didn't stack up to serious walking use, we opted for the Kid Comfort III as the 'ultimate papoose'. It's been all over the UK with a growing Outdoor enthusiast sitting in it and so far so good! It is heavy though and given the size and adjustability of the harness it shouldn't be recommended for those with a small frame. Fine if you are used to carrying a big backpack, but if you are new to the outdoors try using one before buying, no-one likes a moody parent with a sprog on their back!
