Features
An 8 man tent- great for a long weekend with a group, or an extended family camp-out.
The Hi Gear Kalahari 8 is a spacious and stable tunnel-style tent that's packed with features and versatility for a stress-free camping experience.
This one of our best-sellers from our range of tents. It's pre-attached high-visibility guylines, slick pole sleeves, and sewn-in polyethylene groundsheet make pitching the tent a quick and easy affair.
The living space is a generous 7.6m², and the bedrooms comfortably sleep four at each end of the tent, in 2+2 inners with breathable polyester walls. The large living space has two 'privacy' windows and hanging storage pockets to help keep it tidy and liveable.
The sewn-in groundsheet combined with the fire-retardant polyester flysheet (with 3000mm hydrostatic head) give you a fully sealed and ventilated internal environment, so you'll be completely protected from draughts and sustained downpours. The two doors can be propped and extended out to use as a canopy, using the steel porch poles, giving you shelter from rain or stretching the space out for more room if it's sunny.
Other features include water-repellent zips, an electrical cable access point, and multiple ventilation points along the roof line.
And why not enhance the luxury and protection that your camping experience gives, with the Kalahari 8 carpet and the Kalahari 8 footprint?

Kalahari 8, 17 January 2012
By Claire (Manchester)
We purchased this tent last year and have only used it once since purchase. Love the size of the tent, but was very disappointed with the inner to split the bedrooms. The loop to attach the inner to the bedrooms snapped off. All in all a very good tent. Also purchased the carpet and porch but when we got to the Lakes realised we had been given the Kalahari 10 carpet instead (have not took it back yet). The porch is excellent and well worth the money, great for extra space and we used this as our kitchen. Apart from the inners to split the bedroom a great tent and cannot wait to go camping again this year.

Cracking Deal, 07 September 2011
By keeno77 (Northampton)
We purchased this as the package deal. Takes approx hour to erect and is sturdy enough. Plenty of space for us 2 adults and 1 toddler. Cracking deal for a family on a budget. Only thing that I would say is that you get what you pay for and this can seem a little on the cheap side when it comes to build quality. All in all a good tent and we are happy campers!! Thanks Go Outdoors :)
