Info

The Hi Gear Kalahari 10 is a spacious and stable tunnel-style tent that's packed with features for a stress-free camping experience.

It's pre-attached high-visibility guylines, slick pole sleeves, and welded polyethylene groundsheet make pitching the tent a quick and easy affair.

The living space is a generous 10m², and the bedrooms comfortably sleep five at each end of the tent, in a 2+3 inner arrangement with breathable inner walls.

The sewn-in groundsheet combined with the fire-retardant polyester flysheet (with 3000mm hydrostatic head) give you a fully sealed and ventilated internal environment, so you'll be completely protected from draughts and even the heaviest sustained downpours.

The large living space has two 'privacy' windows and hanging storage pockets to help keep it tidy and liveable.

The two doors can be propped and extended out to use as a canopy, using the steel porch poles, giving you shelter from rain or stretching the space out for more room if it's sunny.

Other features include water-repellent zips, an electrical cable access point, and multiple ventilation points along the roof line.

Easy to pitch, generously spaced and comfortable to live in, the Kalahari 10 is a great choice for families or groups who need convenience and quality wherever they're going.

We purchased this tent july 2011.Got the whole package for a bargain price. As a family of five I was a bit worried about space as our last tent was an Outwell Hartford XXL and was huge.To my surprise found this tent had plenty of space and was able to fit on a pitch easily unlike the last tent.Bedrooms were massive and living area big but also cosy. The carpet was a big plus.Porch was great for all our kitchen supplies and also our fridge. No leaks and easy to erect.Excellent value for money. Cant wait for our next holiday.

I read with interest how good this tent is but my experience is not the same. Having a family of 5 we bought it in August 2011 and went camping in the October Half term. The tent leaked from several seams. requied drying out in the morning ready for next down poor. I then returned the tent to store. It then appears the policey is to test the tent for leaks. Guess what they found the water proofing coating had not been applied correctly. store then replaced the tent without ant fuss and now we wait for some warmer weather to try out the new tent

Amazing, almost too good to be true!, 17 January 2012
By Mark Wheeler (Basingstoke)
We were well impressed with the sheer amount of space inside and being 6 ft tall and not having to bow my head in the sleeping areas is a massive plus! We have purchased the porch, carpet and underlay, all for less than £500! Only challenge was the reserve and collect as out of stock in local outlet but luckily was in Mamchester on business and found everything I needed there! Top marks for th customer service too!!
