Features

Breathable, waterproof and silent - a great jacket for the riverside.

"
The Jack Pyke Field Smock is a lightweight, waterproof and breathable jacket that's ideal for use on the bank or riverside.

With a Breatha-tex fabric and bellows pockets this is both comfortable in hot and cold conditions, whilst the adjustable waist drawcord, handwarmers and hook and loop cuffs, make give it a comfortable and personal fit.

The camo pattern is great for blending into the environment and ensuring you don't spook your fish. The low-rustle fabric also makes this a great choice for wildlife watching.

Almost there, 25 January 2016
By Shooter (Norwich)
Had this jacket a couple of months now and used it in all weather conditions, and yes its very waterproof, quiet and well made.

However, no matter what Jack Pike says, its not breathable, arms don't get damp they get very very wet inside. I've even resorted to putting eyelet vents into the armpit area to try and help the arm venting, it didn't help enough to make a real change.

Just a 1 mile walk (not hard effort or fast speed) in 5 degree temps results in being able to wring out the sleeve liner.

A great jacket but totally let down by the way it holds moisture inside, wish I hadn't bought it now :(

Not really waterproof!!, 29 May 2015
By Kev (Fleet)
Bought this jacket for HFT and ended up with wet elbows. Probably fine for normal walking around as its a nice jacket otherwise, can be a bit too warm!!

Sleeves need ventilation, 22 October 2013
By Nick (Birkenhead)
I've had this jacket about a month now and used it once. I wore it shortly after buying it for a days beating and after a few hours had to take it off as the sleeves of my shirt where not just damp they where wet through. In my opinion the jacket sleeves need some sort of ventilation, but besides that problem a good jacket. PS. The temperature was about 11'C when beating.

Excellent quality, really well made. Superb freedom of movement, perfect hood. Can't praise this coat high enough, Should have bought one ages ago ! Very light, feels really soft to the touch. Would recommend it to anyone for just about any use in the great British weather !!

Ive had this jacket for nearly 12 months now so i thought i could give it a decent review its not totally waterproof in really heavy rain it lets some rain in but it keeps you cool if the temperature rises whilst your out and keeps you warm if it gets colder outside and its ok when its showers or light rain the fit is good and so are the pockets and hood its very quiet and wind proof and good value for money
