Made in Europe with a lightweight suede and mesh upper, Hi-Tec's V-LITE Altitude Pro Lite RGS Boots are great for trail, fell walking and hiking trips.
The shock absorbing PU footbed and midsole will keep you walking in comfort, while the waterproof Dri-Tec lining ensures your feet stay completely warm and dry.
Hi-Tec have used their exclusive Vibram® RollinGait System sole unit which supports the natural roll of the foot and helps reduce fatigue, effectively letting you push harder and go further.

Vibram® RollinGait System.
Hi-Tec and Vibram® have worked hand in hand to yield a truly inspiring technology which will change the way people think about their footwear.
Vibram® has performed extensive research on the technicalities of mountain running and walking and has come to these conclusions:
- The descent is the crucial moment during which the footwear can be a determining factor in improving an athlete’s performance
- At the point when the descent gradient increases there is a greater tendency for the foot to make contact with the ground with the heel area
How it Works
The Vibram® RollinGait System builds on this data. RGS is a new innovative technology from Vibram® that aims to reduce muscle fatigue when running and walking. It has been especially developed to optimise energy output during downhill running and walking. When the foot first hits the ground it is usually with the heel, which is – at that point - the centre of pressure. Once the heel has made contact with the ground, the pressure moves towards the metatarsus and then to the toes. The curved shape of the RGS’s sole supports the natural movement of the foot whenever it experiences impact with the ground.

So far so good, 13 March 2017
By Al (Yorkshire)
Not a brand I've had before but given the price with a vibram sole I thought I'd give them a go.
They are a very well made boot, lightweight but giving plenty of support. I've not gone too far in them yet (around 8 mile the furthest so far) but they were instantly comfy out of the box and haven't taken any breaking in.
I haven't tested the waterproofing yet but given the quality of the boot I don't doubt they will be fine.
Absolute bargain with a vibram sole to boot
Good boot, 06 December 2016

Good boots and very comfortable. Slip on wet or icy, smooth surfaces; otherwise would be 5*. Still well worth the price imho

Purchased theses boots a week before I did the Welsh 3000's as a last minute decision. I broke them in with lots of dog walking and hit the hills. They kept my feet dry through some very wet days, been through bogs, scraped up and down rocks and scree. My feet are very happy. Great boots.
Good boots BUT, 15 February 2016

Been wearing these for a few months now and over all I am very happy with them. I wear them 12 hours a day at work and for hiking in the Chilterns. They a very comfortable and light. I walk 20 miles in day with these no problems, no blisters no sore spots, nothing. They are waterproof if you treat them regularly and are not showing any signs of wear yet. My only gripe is the down hill grip on muddy surface is rubbish, I mean really bad. I slip and slide like bamby whilst my girl friend walks along happy as larry in her scarpa baltoros. I think this is because there is no heal and the curve means there is less boot in contact with the ground.
