Info

This is a lightweight and waterproof boot made from full-grain nubuck leather making it perfect for all sorts of tricky outdoor terrains.

The padded tougue and collar are lined with softer leather for improved comfort, and the EVA midsole absorbs the shocks from walking on harder ground - protecting your ankles and knees.

A steel shank (which is built into the sole unit) stiffens the boot and allows for more stable and confident foot placement on uneven surfaces, while the carbon rubber outsole gives durable grip over slippery ground.

The boot style
means this is particularly useful for lowland walking and rambling - a great all round shoe.

Comfy but flawed, 31 December 2011
By PaulS
Purchased to used on walks when it's a bit wet and muddy for my Merrills and not hard enough going for my Mammutts. Out the box they're very comfortable but after only two walks across wet fields the water is soaking into the boots near where the sole joins the leather. Not sure if a reproofing will solve this? I'd say they are ideal for short to medium walks over any terrain as long as it's not to wet. So no good for what I purchased them for. I'll keep them for the spring and use them then.

Very comfy, very dry, 02 September 2011
By Mahinda (Manchester)
Bought these to replace my much stiffer Brashers -- turns out I have high arches and underpronate, so needed something with a bit more flex. Two 10-mile hikes later, then a 26-miler in the Peak District, and I'm pretty chuffed with them.
No sign of blisters, or rubbing in general. Very comfortable and seem pretty sturdy -- slap a trendier label on these and you could sell them for twice the price.
