I brought these for my Duke Of Edinburgh's expedition, they took very little breaking in and very comfortable. I found them to be waterproof even walking through streams would recommend.

I agree with the previous review in that these boots are not waterproof. Good light boots on short, dry paths. Very comfortable. Not for longer days, hills, and definitely not for wet days or boggy ground.

I bought a pair of these and have used them for the pennine way and offa's dyke paths. OK on the comfort side but they are definately NOT waterproof at all so am now giving up on them. In any wet grass, water instantly comes through the fabric parts and soaks the feet in seconds.
