These poles were probably my best ‘best value’ purchase for a recent trip to the Scottish Highlands! At their budget price I could easily have found myself with two useless pieces of twisted metal hanging from my rucksack.
As it was their usefulness was as great as their simplicity – with the added benefit of the snow basket fittings in place of the regular, smaller basket, making their lightweight but rugged construction a perfect accompaniment to my forays on the lower snow covered slopes. When the time comes to consider their replacement I would only be tempted by a higher price if I was to gain ‘clip-lock’ features over ‘twist-lock’ as there were a couple of occasions when the mechanism took a while to work due to the low temperatures.

My husband bought these poles, and I am not ashamed to say I have been surprised and very impressed by them.
I have used them throughout the past winter and even whilst walking locally through the ice and snow in the countryside, these poles have saved me from a nasty fall quite a few times.
I never go out walking without them now.

Just because it's not berghaus or brasher,it doesn't mean it's not a quality product!
it is cheap,but to me it's just as good as any other high class make.even for your experienced walker/hiker these poles are excellent value for money.get one before they disappear.
