A strong, stable and spacious 6-person tent with large windows and generous headroom.
Built using a strong semi-geodesic structure, the Hi Gear Voyager Elite 6
is an easily-pitched tent with room to accomodate 6 campers and all their gear.
It has a large, full-standing-height bedroom area, which can be adapted to convert some of the space into storage quarters if needed.
The groundsheet is sewn in, meaning you get no unwanted draughts, moisture or bugs getting in. Multiple windows (and mesh panels) let you control how much sunlight gets in, and maintain your privacy. The large front door and additional side door give you easy access for you and your gear, and also let you control ventilation.
It's stable enought to stand up to very windy conditions, with the cross-pole design giving it extra strength and flexibility.
A versatile tent that's great for families, groups of friends or festival-goers - and don't forget, you can add extra comfort and insulation by choosing the Hi Gear Voyager Elite Carpet, and extend your sheltered space by adding on the Hi Gear Voyager Elite 6 Porch.

Excellent tent, 27 July 2015
Took this tent to North Devon last week for it's maiden voyage and suffered some pretty horrible weather; it stood up well to some gusting winds with very little movement, better than others in the same field and didn't let a drop in despite both hard and prolonged rain.
Two of us put it up in the expected thirty minutes with relative ease, with another twenty minutes for the porch, but I'm sure that will be quicker next time.
Plenty of room and great head height.
Packing it away was much easier than anticipated and it expelled air relatively easily, making the experience less like trying to stuff a hot air balloon in to a sock than others of a similar design and construction . It went in to it's bag on the second attempt, poles 'n' all, with room to spare. Then we found the bedrooms that we'd put in the car! Not so much spare room now, but it all fitted with very little effort.
The footprint was worth it's weight in gold, allowing you to pitch and pack up whilst keeping the groundsheet clean and dry. It lives in it's own bag, so you could even pack it away and clean it when you get home. It also makes a great aid in deciding where to pitch as you can see exactly how much room you need without having to drag the tent around.
The porch was a great addition, especially for longer stays, but the tent is eminently usable without it. Not quite as stable as the tent itself and nowhere to hang a light, but it stood up well to the tests it was given by Mother Nature.
The carpet was a nice touch, but it could do with some anchoring as it kept trying to run off down the slight gradient we were on, causing it to bunch up around furniture and possibly present a trip hazard. It was also a bit slippery when bare foot, but fine otherwise.
The large bedroom does have a divider, but you'd have to be pretty close to anyone who was to use it as a bedroom, as the only way in and out requires you to pass through the other section. Great if you've got young kids, but beyond that, well, you've got a nice big bedroom with plenty of room for the king size air bed and all your stuff. The second bedroom appears quite small, but I can't comment as to how a bed may fit, as I didn't try on this occasion.
Some zips on the curtains might be a nice touch.
From the experience I've had I would highly recommend this excellent tent.
Giant tent, dry, stable, very roomy, 24 July 2015

This was our first tent having borrowed a friend's for past camping trips. Was absolutely WOW.
First trial was in Glastonbury, comments included when the first band were playing in our tent. It really is surprisingly spacious and easy to walk around in. Helps having a toddler who wants to run around - he can in this tent.
Then we camped in the Lakes and N Norfolk, and also in a friends garden. It's had many nights of heavy rain and strong winds and stayed cosy and dry - unlike a few of our camping neighbours.
Is easy to put up/down, contrary to what others say - took us half an hour each time (kept the inner bedrooms hooked in saves time). Needs 3 people ideally to pitch in high winds as we did in Norfolk - someone to hold the poles in.
We purchased carpet and awning seperately, but if they are doing a good deal then they are worth buying with the tent. No complaints about this tent, it's blooming brilliant.

Bought this to reintroduce ourselves back into camping as weve had motorhomes and caravans ... needless to say after nearly an hour fiddling with guy lines and the porch it was well worth it although i wouldnt put porch up for one night its far too fiddly .. also we have a slight 50p size ladder in one of the nets but apart from all that money well spent .. any one tell me why there isnt any poles to keep open side and front flap as there isnt any

A great tent at a great price just used for first time this weekend (4th July) in a terrible thunder storm. The tent was dry and sturdy when others around us were getting torn apart and leaking, very pleased I bought it.
When packing away it went back in to the bag fine with no trouble or problem
Can't comment on the porch as I didn't use it
Well done great outdoors for offering this great product at a great price??

Just got back from a weeks camping in 45mph winds and terrible hard rain.
We were so glad we invested in this tent.
Very spacious, very dry and great in wind.
I did find it tricky to put up as 4 of the poles cross over. I wasn't always sure which pole was plugging into each pin but I'm sure it's just me (I'm not good at these kind of things) it's obvious on paper it wasn't for me or a large scale
We were shocked at how comfortable we were. Windows, vents, curtains, electric point, lantern hanging point.
Best tent we have had by far.
We also purchased the porch. Which was great for extra room and showing off. The tent is now giant and we got several wows from fellow campers.
The porch was not so good in wind. I recommend if wind is forcast to not put it up.
We couldnt afford the carpet for this tent at 72.00 so we purchased a Coleman 6 carpet from eBay and matching footprint brand new for 22.00.
Much more reasonable and made it very warm and cozy. Almost the same size just a touch bigger in areas (we were able to fold it under perfectly)
