Bought this for my kids for camping but I'm impressed enough to use this on my own backpacking. As others have said it is a bit slidy but not a deal breaker and I reckon it will perform as well in the summer months as my more expensive and heavier full length mat.

Bought these for my 2 boys, they are so slippery they couldn't stay on them. My husband and I also tried them for a night, they are useless. Will try to return to store - not fit for purpose!
Would not have given a star but you have to to submit review.

Having bought this recently following an excursion to a festival and sleeping on a standard (cheap) map on top of a rock, it was a highly unpleasant experience.
Enter hi-gear and their bright orange inflation device, this item is perfect. It's small, it's light weight, it self inflates, it comes with a water proof bag to keep it in and even includes two elastic straps to help it keep it's shape and make it easy to put back into the bag. It's fine only being 3/4. I'm not too bothered about my feet being covered as they're nestled in my sleeping bag, it's better really because it's small size makes it easier to store.
And on top of all that it's really comfy. My back was rock-free all night.
Enjoy!
