The
Hi Gear Trail Jacket is a fully waterproof, breathable and
interactive lightweight coat, designed to work in partnership with the
Hi Gear Tempest full-zip fleece.
Ideal for any number of outdoor activities, it's generous sizing lets you throw it on over your fleece mid-layer, to keep you
comfy and protected without sacrificing freedom of movement whilst the waterproof fabric and
taped seams ensure complete weatherproofing.
It features an easily
adjustable hood with a wired peak, and an
adjustable hem and waist drawcord, so you can stay nicely sealed off from draughts and damp.
The front zip's
storm flap conceals a
map-sized chest pocket, and the 2 zipped hand pockets give you plenty of space to secure your belongings.
If you also have a
Hi Gear Tempest Fleece, you can
zip it into this jacket and keep yourself fully protected form the winter chills.

I bougt this jacket before Xmas and have been out in the rain twice whilst walking and it has leaked like a sieve on both occassions. I was either sold a defective jacket or teh other people who have reviewed were very lucky.

quality jacket for the price, use the jacket for beating on a grouse moor and is totally protective against all wind,rain and snow.A great jacket, and the inner fleece that zip's into the coat keep's me warm on the coldest of day's. pocket's on the jacket could be a little bigger.

I bought this jacket in the sale before Xmas. I was looking for quality, something waterproof and breathable that didn't cost the earth.This fitsthe bill and it has proven to be a great buy. The jacket fits really well, looks good, is totally waterproof and surprisingly warm. My only negative point would be that the pockets are a bit on the small side and a removable fleece(though you can buy these seperately) should be sold with it.
