Info
The Torre XL is the bigger brother to the Torre, and in a similar nature, it is a durable and tough backpacking or weekend tent, built for adventure, with enough space for 2, or a luxury home away from home for one.
The Torre XL has been built with protection in mind. Strong alloy poles add in plenty of strength to support the 3.95kg of weight, whilst the ripstop, waterproof polyester provides fantastic all round coverage from the elements.
As well as a spacious inner, the Torre XL offers plenty of room for movement, so you can relax comfortably after a hard days hiking.
Easy to pitch and easy to put away, the Torre XL is the larger than life easy to use addition to your camping kit.

Absolute rubbish tent, 06 February 2012
By Jimbo (New Zealand)
I bought this tent for a 5 month backpacking trip to New Zealand. Within 10 days of using it one of the poles snapped, within another two weeks the other two did the same thing. As there is no repair kit with the tent I had to get some repair sleeves made at my own expense. I emailed go outdoors to see if they could post replacement poles to me but they refused as I was outside the uk. I will not be buying anything from this company again. If I could give this review 0 stars I would. Another design fault is that there is no centre loop on the side walls to keep the outer tent off the inner and so in wet windy weather the inner tent gets soaked. Just for the record I am 50 years old and have a lot of camping, so please do not even think about buying this tent unless you wish to waste money.

North Ridge Torre XL, 15 November 2010

The North Ridge Torre XL is brilliant if you are camping on your own. Light weight, compact and easy to erect. It took me only 30 minutes to put up on my first attempt, and thats from getting it out of the bag to putting the kettle on... It was watertight and had to deal with winds of upto 80mph.
Well worth the £150 pound I payed for it,
