Tough, comfortable and fully waterproof women's boots for days out on the hills.
The Hi Gear Snowdon Walking Boots are made from tough full grain leather, with a waterproof and breathable membrane that keeps your feet dry and comfortable on all-day treks.
Their moisture wicking lining draws perspiration vapours away from the foot, avoiding any build up of friction or clamminess.
They boast a cushioned EVA footbed and CMEVA midsole, keeping them lightweight but giving you the same level of comfort as a sports trainer.
Their tough, durable rubber outsole not only gives great grip on varied uneven terrain, but is designed to shed excess mud while you walk - again helping to keep them light, comfortable and functional.
||Wicking, Padded, Breathable
||Soft, for low level walks on defined trials

Good for the price, 29 September 2014

Needed boots in a hurry and bought these at 1/3 of the price of big named brands. Worn straight from the box for a weeks walking in Wales (10-15 miles per day). As others mention get quite hot inside, but otherwise, comfortable out of the box, good soles and grippy. Let water in on a day of walking in a constant downpour across sodden fells - to be fair walking chum was wearing a big brand with Gortex lining which also leaked on that day. For the price you can't complain - not sure if a big brand will last 3 times as long, only time will tell !

Wear out quickly, 17 June 2014

I bought these in February 2014. We are now in June. By April the heels had worn down badly and now the soles are worn down so much I can feel every stone through them. Having said that, I do walk my dog 5 miles every morning, but even so, I would have expected them to last a bit longer as they are, by definition, walking boots. They are the only pair I have ever found which have been waterproof, so tomorrow I shall be venturing out into the big city again to buy another pair because, at the end of the day, they have been very comfortable.

At first I found these boots quite rigid and was worried I would never break them in, but after a few walks out they soon softened and are now comfy although need a decent pair of longish socks to prevent rubbing around the ankle. My only issue is that my feet get very hot but as these are the first pair of walking boots I've owned I don't know if this is normal.
