A spacious 4 person tent that’s ideal for small families and group getaways.
- 4 Berth Family Tent
- All in one pitching style
- Taped seams - no leaks
The Hi Gear Rock 4
is a flexible family tent
for smaller families or couples looking for extra room. The tent and bedroom are separate parts that are permanently attached by a mesh panel, so you get the reduced condensation of a double-skin design without the hassle of fitting the inners every time you pitch. The sewn in groundsheet keeps drafts and insects out as well as protecting from wet ground.
The bedroom can be divided in 2 with a central curtain, and the tall windows in the front allow lots of light into the living area. The doors to the front and side can be converted to awnings with awning poles (sold separately).
A great tent for first time campers or those who want a simple and roomy tent for weekends away.

My partner and I bought this tent for 1st time camping and as a trial run pitched it up in the garden to see how long to pitch. Got it up in no time at all. Once up it came over cloudy and then the heavens opened, hailstones strong winds and torrential rain lashed onto our tent but it stood up to the test so well pleased with that. Even slept in it the following evening and for someone in mid forties whose never camped before in her life I really enjoyed it and can't wait till our camping holiday next week. Would fully recommend this tent as plenty of room all round.

We bought this tent o use the 2nd bedroom for storing clothes and equipment as theirs only me and the wife and for years we have struggled with space when it turned a bit wet in a two Man tent but now with this tent we can keep the lobby clear for lounging around on those damp summer days and throw it all in the spare bedroom but we have not used it yet due to buying it in early spring but it looks easy to erect with the added bonus of the built in ground sheet, now looking forward to a long hot summer to use the tent to the max

Myself and my partner decided to purchase this tent, as we sold our tear drop trailer. We purchased every accessory possible, the footprint, carpet, tent, tent essentials and the canopy. Tent is very easy to pitch up, and is fantastic for breaks for couples. However, I feel what lets the tent down is the living space (in front of bedrooms). Once you place your kitchen, table and chairs for two, space can be very cramped. We put the kitchen in the canopy, to cook and then collapsed the table and kept it in the bedroom when not used. Fantastic tent, if your not bothered about space. I think when we come to have children we will definatly upgrade to a bigger living space :-)
