Great value and economical on batteries.
Remote control - how decadent? No, how useful!

Bought lantern online. Didnt work when it arrived. Hubby jiggled batteries about and it worked. Great - nice and bright. Put it away in cupboard. Took it out before we went camping, checked it worked. It did. Arrived at campsite, it didnt work again. Hubby once again fiddled with it and got it working. Brilliant. Took it camping again. It worked fine the first night. Got back to the tent late on the second night dragging tired toddler and baby. It didnt work. I fiddled with it. Didnt work. Hubby fiddled with it. Didnt work. Changed batteries and fiddled some more. Still doesnt work.
So to sum up - great when it works but too unreliable. Will be replacing. Waste of money.

bought 2 of these lamps to use in the bedrooms of the 6 man tent. Very dissapointed, if you leave them on standby, the battery is drained before you get back to the tent. When turned on, they give out very little light, using 2 side by side was just about enough to enable me to see. There are much better out there on the market - my old £2.99 lamp gives out much better light, batteries last longer and has a dimmer function too. Dont waste your money on this!
