The Hi Gear Portable Gas Cooker is lightweight, robust and very stable, a very useful cooker for any camping trip.
It uses standard 220g gas canisters, which slot in and lock in place very simply to get you cooking in no time. The canister is hidden away inside, so there's no need for trailing hoses or balancing acts.
It uses an automatic Piezo ignition system, so you won't have to fiddle around with matches or a lighter.
The cooker comes with it's own carry case with handle for easy transportation.

this little stove proved my capabilities as a true "back to basics" camper, purely because at minus 1 degrees it would have been quicker to heat a kettle of water by breathing on it than using the flame that the stove produced. I ended up cooking on a wood fire all weekend. Don't get me wrong, It's a nice little cooker and probably works brilliantly for warm summer camping, but with the cold temperatures, the butane fueled flames it produces isn't enough to cook with.

This stove has proved very useful. It is completely stable and the lighting mechanism works briliiantly. Very easy to fit cartridges and they last a fair time. The lever to disengage the gas is a nice feature. Very good value.
