Features

A tough, lightweight and stable stove for campers.

The Hi Gear Portable Gas Cooker is lightweight, robust and very stable, a very useful cooker for any camping trip.

It uses standard 220g gas canisters, which slot in and lock in place very simply to get you cooking in no time. The canister is hidden away inside, so there's no need for trailing hoses or balancing acts.

It uses an automatic Piezo ignition system, so you won't have to fiddle around with matches or a lighter.

    Poorly regulated, 26 August 2015
    By Jeff-Man (Norwich)
I guess you get what you pay for, but I had to sit and hold the knob / dial open at full (i.e. at the priming level - past the the ignition), just to get it to stay alight. Even then, it then took 15 minutes to boil a kettle with enough water to make two cups of tea.

    Disasterous, 04 July 2015
    By Saxali (Norwich)
Boiled one kettle then caught fire. Extremelly dangerous and couldve been a disaster had we been camped in amongst tents
Heat melted table and stove. This batch should be recalled. Phoned shop immediately and took it back to shop on return. Didnt seem to see the urgency. I had to put one star but should b a zero

    Extremely disappointed, 11 June 2015
    By Jules (Witney)
ordered first one online, inserted gas canister, it would not ignite. Took back to store on route to camping hols, item replaced, checked out in store, next one had plastic knob missing, next one locking mechanism didn't work. finally third one was ok, or so I thought, great first morning away, following morning, locking mechanism didn't work. So I was stuck without being able to make a hot drink or cook breakfast. Really not acceptable, I should have realised when I took first one back that the product is more than useless. It now means yet another trip to store which is 15 miles away to get a refund. Will be definitely looking elsewhere for a far better and reliable product.

Hi Gear Portable Gas Stove, 24 May 2015
    By Boo (Kidderminster)
We use these and have a couple of them. We have no problem with them and much prefer those to those huge heavy Calor gas bottles!

REally poor quality, 11 May 2015
    By Watto
The first time I added a Gas cannister and operated the lock mechanism the front plastic panel popped out and disintegrated.
It's generally a really poor build quality. I should have known better from the price.
