I need a better tent! This is in my boot waiting for me to take it down to the tip., 11 May 2015

I got this as I was spending a week in a friend's back garden before her wedding and there wasn't enough room for us all in the house. I did 5 long nights in it so that's a fair road test as it rained a lot.
It doesn't have a very high waterproof rating to be fair to it, so I slung a tarp over it, on the advice of the great customer service guy in the shop and I think this saved my skin. This is a very small tent so it it nigh on impossible not to nullify the waterproofing by touching the side. It also suffered a lot from condensation, which I think others have mentioned. Even so, at the price, I would have given it 3 stars were it not for the problem with the zipped door. It constantly snagged with the overlay protecting the zip from rain, trapping me inside for 20 minutes on one occasion whilst I attempted to open it from the inside without being able to see what I was doing. You would need to sleep with a knife to be safe in the event of needing to leave in an emergency! The tent finally bit the dust when the zip became totally stuck and the overlay had to be snipped to give access to the tent. This has of course rendered the tent totally useless - when I then went to retrieve my stuff several hours later and after a rainshower, everything at the tent end was soaking wet. Cheap tent but only lasted one trip. Would, in retrospect have been better to plan better and borrow a better tent from someone else or buy a better tent myself!

Not impressed this was a birthday present for my grandson. The first time he used it he got absolutely soaked even though it didn't rain. All his bedding was wet through

The only good thing about this tent is that it goes up easy. The tent lets in water from the bottom and there is not enough room for 2 people there is barely enough room for 1 person. We left the tent as it was that bad. Never again.

First time we used this it rained and there were actual puddles in the base of the tent by morning. If you need a weatherproof tent go for a better one.
