Info
This is the footprint, an under groundsheet layer for the Hi Gear Kalahari 10 Tent.
This keeps your groundsheet clean and protects it from abrasion, rips and tears that may occur on rought ground.
The footprint should be covered completely by the tent to prevent rain from pooling underneath your groundsheet.

KALAHARI10 FOOTPRINT, 22 February 2010

The firs time we pitched our tent, the campsite was wet and muddy, meaning the tent groundsheet was too. I spent ages cleaning it when we got home. The footprint totally protects the groundsheet from mud etc, and helps to insulate it too. Packing up is also easy, because you can kneel on the footprint while folding up the tent, so you dont get covered in mud either. Holes are already punched into the footprint for the bedroom pegging points, and using the footprint means it is easy to line the tent up square before pitching, it also gives added protection to the groundsheet from stones.
