I wouldn't describe the set as "Heavy Duty", but it certainly does what you'd expect from a set of cutlery. The plastic pouch supplied with the set is also useful for keeping the cutlery separate from other items, so for example, you can put dirty cutlery in the pouch and not worry about it going all over the rest of your pack.
