Great heavy duty pegs, 09 January 2012

Use these al the time as i was sick of pegs bending, they are pretty much bombproof and even plastic green bit seems fairly strong - they are fairly heavy so if weights not an issue get some :)
Tough and Trusty, 29 November 2011

So far these have gone into everything I have encountered (admittedly mostly European campsites and not mountain ledges). They go in easily with a rubber mallet. And they stay in ... and stay in. So I have found that the easy way to extract them without damaging the nylon caps is to tap the peg on the side while gently pulling the peg out with the attached guy rope.

What do you want from a peg???
It's gotta be strong, not bend with a wack from the mallet and be easy enough to pull out. This is it and great value, versus an Outwell peg, for example. If your tent comes with flexi plastic pegs - use them for something else and get these for guy ropes where they take the strain.
