Info

Hi Gear's Gobi 4 tent has a huge bedroom compartment and a full height living area, to give you a spacious and comfortable refuge from the elements.

The taped seams, 3000H rated flysheet and sewn-in groundsheet give you ample protection from the wettest weather, while the two large mesh doors and rear bedroom vent provide lots of ventilation if the weather's warm or humid.

There's an access point for any electrical cable hook-ups, and tent tidies are included to help keep your gear organised.

Pre-attached guylines and pegging points on the skirt make sure that the tent is stable enough to take high winds and knocks, while the guylines are bright and reflective to help you find the tent in the dark.

As well as the mesh side doors, the large front door and living area windows mean that the inside of the tent allows plenty of light to filter through from all sides, so there are no dark corners and a more spacious feel.

Plenty of storage space in the front porch means you can keep muddy boots and gear safely away from your sleeping kit, or keep furniture in there when it rains.

A comfortable, secure and versatile tent for weekends away with the family, or groups of festival-goers who want to sleep in comfort.

And for a more comfortable, stable and secure camping experience, why not try the Gobi 4 carpet and the Gobi 4 footprint?

(Please note: all furnishings/accessories shown in interior picture are not included with the tent)

Excellent value for money, well built, 25 October 2011
By Josh
I purchased this tent at the start of September as a replacement for my smaller dome tent. After spending a weekend in the lake district with some outbursts of heavy rain the tent withstood it all. It is a well made tent with plenty of room, i am 6'3 and had no problem standing up inside it. The only problem i found was that the bag is too small and as so I will need to invest in a larger bag to store it, not a major issue though. I did not managed to have a test run putting the tent up due to the weather but it took me around half an hour on my own to put it up and considering I have limited experience of putting tents up it was fairly straightforward. Highly recommend.

GOBI 4 TENT, 18 September 2011
By JOHNM (Torquay)
Purchased this tent early September to use at a music festival. Being over the hill now decided on a larger tent for the two of us for comfort and full standing room. We did have trouble locatiing this tent as Exeter (Local) store had no stock neither did several others in the West country, so had to make a 280 mile round trip to the Swindon store to buy one. It turned out to be the correct descision. The tent was fine, and was everything we were led to believe, and did the job very well. You really do need to follow the instruction as far as they go. These I think should be more comprehensive than they are now. We read the reviews prior to buying and the comments therein were very usefull. and certainly helped with the first pitching.and the decision to buy bothe the ground sheet and the carpet accessories. It take an hour to pitch the tent mainly due to it being windy, that did not help of course. It also rained over night and the tent proved to be completely waterproof.
The storage bag needs to be bigger as its quite hard to roll the tent small enough to shove back in after use, The only other point is the front opening. As it slopes it can allow rain water to run into the tent, so it does need to be fully fastened to prevent this.
Would recommend this tent to anyone - very satistied with the prchases
