Info
Hi Gear's Gobi 4 tent has a huge bedroom compartment and a full height living area, to give you a spacious and comfortable refuge from the elements.
The taped seams, 3000H rated flysheet and rising groundsheet give you ample protection from the wettest weather, while the two large mesh doors and rear bedroom vent provide lots of ventilation if the weather's warm or humid.
There's an access point for any electrical cable hook-ups, and tent tidies are included to help keep your gear organised.
Pre-attached guylines and pegging points on the skirt make sure that the tent is stable enough to take high winds and knocks, while the guylines are bright and reflective to help you find the tent in the dark.
As well as the mesh side doors, the large front door and living area windows mean that the inside of the tent allows plenty of light to filter through from all sides, so there are no dark corners and a more spacious feel.
Plenty of storage space in the front porch means you can keep muddy boots and gear safely away from your sleeping kit, or keep furniture in there when it rains.
A comfortable, secure and versatile tent for weekends away with the family, or groups of festival-goers who want to sleep in comfort.
And for a more comfortable and protected camping experience, why not try the Gobi 4 carpet and the Gobi 4 footprint?

Excellent purchase!, 28 July 2010

We bought this tent last year after getting tired of bending around in a small tent with no porch. It goes up and comes down fairly easily; the size is great - even my 6'2" husband doesn't feel cramped! We've used it for long weekends mostly, but also took it to Spai nlast year for a week where it withstood high winds and lashing rain. We stayed dry and comfortable. The 3 doors in makes it handy when weather conditions aren't ideal - we were able to chose which entrance to use on the most sheltered side. The porch is brilliant - when the weather outside isn't good enough for sitting out, it easily takes a table and 2 chairs, and we've spent many a happy evening in our camping 'front room'!

GREAT GOBI!, 19 July 2010

I bought this tent in an attempt to persuade my wife to come camping with me, and as she requires full height and seperate sleeping areas i had a good lookround the tent park and we decided together on this one. We were both chuffed with this tent. i love the bath tub grounsheet and the geodesic shape which stood up to howling wind and rain very well and i love that i can stand up with a good couple of inches above my head in the living compartment. i can put it up myself which is a godsend. and there is absolutely plenty of room inside. i (was persuaded) bought this tent with the carpet and i think it made a massive difference to the warmth and draftiness of the tent. i also like the 3 doors and the near vertical front which ensures no space is wasted and means you can have the door open in rain as long as its not blowing in. The sleeping compartment holds warmth really well, i think mainly due to the shape, and its tall enough for my wife to stand up in to get dressed, ( im 6'1" and i have to stoop a little in the bedroom )ive had no problems with the quality or resilience of the tent and its had some real use this year!! if youre on a budget and looking for a tent suitable for 2 adults and two kids really comfortably then you could do a lot worse than this.

Great buy - Only lacking a canopy, 15 July 2010

This is an excellent tent. Really easy to put up, plenty of room, and I like the multiple openings. The only downside is that the doors fold sideways, not upwards so they can't be used as canopies. I can see why this is the case with the two side doors but would have been 5-stars if the front door doubled as a rain canopy. separate canopies are easy to come by but I still think they missed a trick there.
Bought this as a more manageable option to our larger tunnel tent, for one-nighters etc and does the job perfectly.
