A giant family tent that's very strong and stable, with a roomy living area and panoramic windows.
With its huge size, great quality and easy pitching, the Hi Gear Frontier 8
is a luxurious choice for any family camping trip.
Very airy and spacious, it has ample room for your family, your gear and your furniture, and is tall enough for you to stand inside without you having to stoop.
Stong steel poles give the tent great rigidity, but it's still very straightforward to pitch. The front door can be extended using the included steel poles to form a canopy, giving you more room to spread out, and extra shade from the sun.
Large panoramic windows throughout (with roll up curtains) give you a great view out and let light in, while mesh venting (that can be closed down at night or in bad weather) lets air flow freely. The large full-height breathable bedrooms also use mesh venting, and there are multiple tent tidy pockets so you can keep your gear tidy and organised.
An enclosed and sheltered side porch entrance is great for when it's raining, and also doubles as an extra area for storing kit. And if the heavens do open, you'll be dry inside due to the flysheet's very waterproof 6000HH rating.
And you can make your camp even more roomy by extending your living space with the Frontier 8 Porch, add warmth and comfort underfoot with the Frontier 8 Carpet, and help to protect and insulate the floor with the Frontier 8 Footprint.

Better than my last tent, 22 September 2015

I have just brought the frontier 8 bundle and I can not wait to try it out
Hi gear fonter 8 tent, 20 September 2015

Bought this tent as looked a great tent with plenty of room also got the porch at the same time for the extra space. Easy to put up and quick.
On the third time I used it, all was going well until the wind picked up I went out and double checked all the guide lines to ensure well clamped down. Within an hour the front poles of the tent bent like a knife going through butter. I went back home to get my other tent which is 14 years old and by the time I got back 2 hours later my new tent was totally wrecked all the poles apart from one was bent and the tent was beyond repair due to damage caused by the poles.
This is the worst tent I have ever bought and would never buy another tent with metal poles as my old tent with fibreglass poles withstood the high winds.

Loved this tent initially, plenty of room etc. but the third time we used it one of metal legs bent when we were putting it up, it was less than a year old. I contacted product support thinking it would be guaranteed for at least a year. But their response was that the 1 year warranty does not include the tent legs and suggested we contact tent spares UK to have a custom made one. We went to our local store Doncaster & spoke to the manager & he found one that was suitable from some spares he had in the back. The product support is very poor & did not want to help, find it hard to believe the warranty covers everything but the poles!

Amazing tent went away this weekend didn't let us down very well made and perfect for us 2 adults a child and a daft dog lol. Had plenty of room but going to get the porch for the extra space. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new tent

Can't fault this tent easy to put up and plenty of room for my family of 4 and 2 dogs.
Once the tent is put up it is a good idea to leave the bedrooms attached when you dismantle it because of the height.. ( first time take a stool)
Looking at getting the porch next
