Does the job nicely, 12 July 2011

Ignore the one star review- these things aren't designed to go right round a stove, but to act as a windbreak - you can curve it nicely and it works perfectly.
I've knocked a star off as the useful built-in 'pegs' that anchor it to the ground fall out if you don't handle it carefully. Not a deal breaker, but a pain in the backside, and you'd have thought they'd have managed to keep them captive somehow.
Pretty good, and does the job!

just bought 2 of them to use with my 2 single burner stoves for the fishing trips i spend up to 2 weeks away so using them will help save fuel by cutting out any wind so the stoves cook more efficiently .
small and not to heavy so no hassle to Carry along with the rest of my carping gear

great value practical wind shield, 16 January 2011

i bought this to shelter my MSR pocket rocket stove from the wind, (found i needed a windshield after a windy wildcamp) and i cant really complain. mine looks slightly different to the one in the picture as mine has pegs/stakes on either end of the shield that fit in small sleeves to anchor the shield to the ground.
the fit is great, it shields my pocket rocket (small single burner backpacking stove) and 250g gas canister and comes up to about halfway up the mess tin sitting on top of the stove. it doesnt fall over due to the small "pegs" and also the nature of creating a semi-circle out of the shield makes it quite stable.
the only bad point that i can say is that it isnt the lightest thing that you can get, but i expected that from something this cheap, the only other thing that i could say is that it squeaks a lot when you are folding/unfolding it, but that isnt a problem worth worrying about.
overall it is a great buy and does exactly what it says it does, whether you are using it for car camping or wild-camping, it folds up nicely and you need to put a couple of elastic bands around it to stop the pegs falling out (or store the separately)
