Not great, but not bad either!, 17 August 2011

These were obviously never going to be as good as a normal pillow - so we bought six (two each). If you are back packing, they may be fine, but you may take a while to get used to them. Certainly not as good as a proper pillow, but then, it isn't a proper pillow! Used as a base with a jumper or something over the top greatly improves their usefulness, the small size is a plus, but not convinced they are worth the money.
OK but there are better ways, 04 March 2011

Too small, and too soft to use as a pillow. If caravan or car camping just use a real pillow. If backpacking, shove spare clothes in a drybag, and cover it with a towel.
As one review said, more use as a cushion.

Have used this a few times now and I find it quite comfortable, yet it does not add too much weight or take up too much space.
A good purchase for the price
