I bought this stove in July 2010 for a 6-7 week camping trip to the Alps. Not suitable for everyday use - heat output too low - takes forever to boil a kettle, even in calm weather. In winds, it is useless. In order to overcome these problems I am going to trade up to a higher performance model - biggwer heat output & winshield. Save you money and buy a higher spec product!

I bought this to put us on as I didn't want to spend too much until I knew whether the kids would like camping. They do but I've found no need to upgrade to a more expensive version. It's been very well used, does what it's supposed to and has plenty of life left in it. My only criticism would be that you need to make sure smaller pans are on properly if the ground isn't totallly level as they can have a tendency to slide around a bit.

Took this camping with the kids - worked great for roasting marshmallows at night, then breakfast for 5 in the morning. Very pleased with the quality and price.
