this bag is ok for warm summer nights but nothing too cold. The big advantage is that it can be made into a double sleeping bag, really nice (note that you have to buy 2 'right' or 2 'left', that is the small note on the carrier bag of the sleeping bag).

After startingout camping and realising that there was a lot to purchase - we decided to economise by purchasing this sleeping bag as we were only camping in warmish weather. We found the sleeping bags to be lightweight when compacted into their travel pouches but comfortable enough to keep us warm on cold summer nights. They can also be zipped together to form a double sleeping bag which we found useful too. For value for money you cannot go wrong and sometimes this item is on special offer so its worth keeping an eye on. I would also recommend these for parents to have for kids sleep overs as the bag is roomy and comfortable my nieces love them.

I have been travelling to Africa for the past 5 years, working with Samaritan's Purse Humanitarian Projects. Specifically orphaned children. After the project is completed we leave our tents, which become houses for families that have lost their homes in the floods & we take square fully opening sleeping bags like this Hi Gear Corrie which I am taking to Kenya this year. When we leave these are perfect when opened up, to use as blankets, to cover several children at night.
