..but it isn't. It makes perfect sense, especially when the weather isn't always good. I was a little dubious when we bought it but not any more. A carpet makes the whole tent feel warmer and cosier. It's quite resiliant, actually makes sense and I am now a convert.

I cant believe how much difference a carpet makes! The whole tent feels warmer and on cold days, you feel like you are stepping into a warm house, rather than into an outside shelter! Dissapointed that the carpet does not have an extra piece that goes between the bedrooms (maybe hi gear will soon offer one ;) I would buy it!) I would recomend a carpet for anyone with a tent! This one fits the front part of the tent perfectly, which means my toddler can happily roll about the floor without getting cold.
