Great, but...., 07 August 2011

You can't deny that this bag is a bargain. It's perfect functionally, enou pockets to store everything just in case something goes wrong when cycling, really light and just really well thought out. As the other reviewer says another bag with a brand name would be triple the price.
HOWEVER, the problem is that the water it releases just tastes of plastic. I've tried cleaning it, washing it out with bicarb of soda as instructed and it still tastes like plastic.
I'll probably end up getting another bladder that won't change the taste of the water.

I am returning to Mountain biking and looking for a hydration system, i considered a bottle/carrier combination plus a seat post pouch, but the day bag just seemed the better option. Okay, a bit over kill for a short journey, but the advantage is that little is left on the bike that is of any value and easily removable.
For the price it is fantastic, really fantastic, well thought out storage areas, a working bladder, comfortable, harnesses that works, even a small gromet point for your MP3 speaker wire to exit the bag from. The small pockets have built in sections to stop your multi toll, etc, from rattling about. I cannot find anything to complain about and would recommend it. Im sure that if the bag had a different well known label on it the RRP would be up to 5 maybe 6 times more!

Muche better value than a certain other well known brand., 27 October 2010

For the money i feel this can't be beat. Front pocket is actually two. The front one is for slim items only when the lower pocket is full. I use this with a 2 litre bladder. If using a well known brand of bladder the main compartment is full and you can only place items in the lower section. I use the item on a mountain bike and my waterproof jacket fits under the draw string. This string could ride a little higher but once the synch straps are adjusted it's fine and i've never lost it yet.
