An inflatable tunnel tent for four that takes hardly any time to pitch. Ideal for weekends away with family and friends.
Hi Gear Airgo Solus tents are inflatable, pole-free tents with individual inflation points on each Air Tube. It's an incredibly quick pitching system that results in a sturdy, rigid tent that still has enough 'give' to cope with strong wind (premium Airgo tents have a single inflation point for all tubes, making for an even quicker ‘all in one’ pitching tent). Airgo Solus tents also use a lighter flysheet material than premium Airgo tents.
The Airgo Solus Horizon 4 Tent has a simple tunnel layout with a spacious bedroom, a large living area and big windows to give it a roomy feel and let light in.
Pre-attached luminous guylines help you to keep the tent stable in windy conditions, and remain visible in low light (especially on a crowded campsite).
There are additions to the Horizon 4 available, to make your camp even more comfortable. The Horizon 4 Carpet will make it feel more homely by adding underfoot softness and warmth, and the Horizon 4 Footprint will insulate and protect the floor (and make pitching the tent even easier).
- Comes with Airgo pump, steel tent pegs, guyropes attached
- Standing height, roomy porch/entrance - enough space for a table and chairs
- Ideal for couples, festivals, weekend camping

Great Value for Money, 05 September 2016
By Wishing I was on Dartmoor (Newport)
I managed to pick this tent up in the sale some time ago and the weekend just gone was my first chance to use it. Went away for three nights with my two young children.
Very easy to put up and pack away, went back in the bag easily (as long as you follow the instructions).
Great value for money.
Comfortable living space and useful touches such as the extended door skirt on the bathtub.
If it rains, you get the inner tent wet when opening either door. This has been mentioned before and I'll be using a tarp to fix this issue next trip.
This was the only thing I can really say lets it down, but then you pay about another £150 for the more expensive models for this design fault to be rectified.
The last full day and night of the trip was met with foul weather, the tent stood up exceptionally well given the weather. Many caravan awnings were being taken down at 3am when I went to use the facilities. I did a quick inspection of the tent on my return and found nothing out of place. We stayed dry and warm all night and it is quite relaxing to be laying in a tent while it is foul outside and have some confidence in the equipment.
Last point to note is that the tent is very easy to put up and take down on your own.
Great tent. Makes camping easy with a little one!, 05 September 2016

Bought as a package with footprint and carpet. Easy and quick to pitch which we needed with having a little one running around! Roomy inside for 3 if us and has been very warm but not sure how you would fit 4 people in! Living area feels comfy with the carpet. Glad we got that. Had an issue with poles bending in strong winds and did get damp in very heavy rain but for fair weather camping it's been great. It does dry out easy enough if you re pitch on dry weather. got away most weekends this year and looking forward to next year. Could have done with a porch for this model to be able to cook under cover

I bought this tent earlier in the year and have used it for mainly motorcycle rallies.. Having used it on several occasions now,on average two per month ,I feel able to provide a better opinion of the tent in use.
Firstly it is very easy to erect without assistance, just peg out the footprint, lay the tent out inflate each beam beginning with the one at the front and then finish off pegging it down. The guy ropes are extremely useful if the weather turns windy as it did on a couple of camps. There is tons of space inside and one is able to sit at a table and enjoy camping in all weathers. Likewise it is very easy to take down provided one removes the outer valves . Fetting the tent back into the bag is something that gets much easier with practice and the bag is certainly large enouth to accommodate the tent and the footprint.
The footprint is slightly larger than the tent and that has led to water finding its way between the footprint and the tent base.
The other problem is that the stitching on some of the little toggles that secure the lower doorway flaps needed reinforcing but all in all no major complaints.
It is marketed as a four person tent but I think four people would have to be either very small or very friendly. My daughter in law borrowed it when she camped and it accommodated her and her husband and two children with no problems. In comparison with other so called 4 person tents it is positively roomy
I bought this tent when the deal was the tent and a footprint and carpet and that was a phenomenal bargain. I still think at the current price it is very good value for money.
In summary an excellent tent for the price. Well done Go Outdoors but can you please supply replacement airbeams

Great tent for a single person to pitch alone. It's not easy to get back into the bag but no tent is. You just have to make sure air poles are left open to allow air to escape. It doesn't make sense to me that you can only open Window flaps from the outside, if it's pouring down you have to go out to do it. Runners at both ends of the zip on the bedroom door would have been usefull but both are minor things really and I love the tent apart from that. Just booked my third trip in three weeks. Very good all weather tent that My dog and I feel safe in. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Great idea - but..., 06 August 2016

Bought this model having been sold on the idea of doing away with poles. Very easy to put up, but the supplied footprint is rather bigger than the tent, so when it rained, water collected between the footprint and the groundsheet, causing a problem when we struck camp. We pumped up the airbeams to the max pressure of the supplied pump, but as the front and middle beams kept bending in the wind despite all the guy ropes being deployed, we had to top up the airbeams up at least twice during the weekend. When we struck camp we also found that rainwater had leaked into the foot of each airbeam on the windward side of the tent, causing further drying out issues. Maybe we just had a faulty model, but, it is also very bulky when packed, and isn't as easy as a pole tent to squeeze back into it's bag on a windy day.
