Not a great light. Works ok after charging from the mains but forget winding it. Light output is poor and more of a glow. Certainly not bright enough to read by, or do anything detailed. Shame, as it is a good size and I the wind up idea is a good one. The top has also snapped off ours now and we wont be buying another.

Total rubbish, 5 mins of winding gave about 1 min of light then faded to nothing.Staight out of the box the battery function did not work.So dissapointed i couldnt be bothered to return it and thew it in the capsite bin!!.

Bought this on the way to a festival and used it by just winding it up - gave a lot less time of light per minute of winding than it said.
For the next festival, charged it overnight at home and no light at all from it (green charging light showed).
Not impressed - if you buy one, make sure you try it out at home to see if it works.
