Based near the River Derwent, Hathersage is a small village tucked away in the crook of The Peak District, around 10 miles from Sheffield.
Hathersage is a scenic village, famed for it’s literary connections, with Charlotte Bronte and Robin Hood both being claimed to have passed through the village on travels, and the (reputed) grave of Little John, one of Robin Hood's Merry Men, in the village church.
Close to Stanage Edge, Hathersage is a centre for climbers, whilst the village also attracts walkers, ramblers, and sightseers.
Nearby underground caves, as well as natural wildlife offer a scenic respite for people from all around the Peak District.
