As used by many Mountain Rescue Teams, Harvey Maps are made for walkers, by walkers.
The Pennine Way is a National Trail that follows the backbone of England from the Peak District to the Scottish borders. The Harvey Pennine Way (Central) Map covers the route from Horton-in-Ribblesdale to Greenhead.
One of the toughest UK long distance footpaths, the Pennine Way forms part of the European Footpath Network. Britain's first National Trail, it was officially opened in 1965.
The map covers a section of the Way suitable for a comfortable week of walking. It starts and finishes near public transport points, so you'll have no hassle with getting lifts. It also contains lots of information and useful telephone numbers to assist any walker with planning the route.
Tough, light and 100% wateproof, the Harvey Pennine Way Central Map is a third of the weight of a laminated map, and much less bulky. You can fold or refold it time and again, or stuff it in your back pocket and it won't fall to pieces.

HARVEY produce clear, detailed and waterproof maps for walkers, compiled from original aerial surveys and field checked by their experienced surveyors, who are dedicated hill-walkers themselves.
HARVEY maps are easy to use, of a manageable size, and contain information on safety and services, and useful telephone numbers. They use clear print so they're easy to read, and care is taken so that no administrative symbols obscure the picture, as can be the case with some other maps.
