Keep yourself powered on the go.
The Goal Zero Guide 10 Plus Mobile Kit lets you use, enjoy and recharge your devices and gadgets wherever you are.
Small and compact enough to carry with you always, you can keep your power hungry phone juiced and ready, or power up your tablet for 25% longer.
You won't ever need to buy batteries again - just recharge up the AA batteries right from the sun. You can use them in the battery pack to power your USB devices, or take them out and power your headlamp or remote control.
A handy built-in LED Flashlight will help you search in that dark backpack or purse. (The light runs for over 150 hours before needing a charge.)
Powerful enough to handle smartphones, readers and tablets.
With 3.5 Watts of sun collection power, the solar panel will charge the battery pack in about 6-8 hours. It's the most efficient solar panel on the market. You can also recharge your power pack from a laptop.
When folded up, it's about the size of a wallet. It can open up and charge from your dashboard, or hang from a backpack.
A convenient zippered pouch pocket on the back of the panel stores the battery pack while charging up, or keeps the pack and cord neatly organized.

it works, but expensive for you achieve, 15 June 2016

we have used this on the hills, where time and location, meant this was literally all we had,
it works, but for a Apple 5 or above its not suitable , the connections are not direct or able to charge direct from the panel, my son managed to get charge into the Samsung and apple, enough charge to get comm's , then again we had to hope for a signal from 3 separate networks,
our best hope was a 5 pound mobile, used only for sms/voice calls,
as I said it works, but far from simply just plugging in, and getting a full charge, I cant put my faith into it, maybe if I used it more often and got to grips with it, it would justify the money outlay

There are misleading charge times and a few other gripes with this (and the nomad 7 too) but at the end of the day, if you're out in the sticks and you point this little puppy at the sun (or clouds in England) then it'll charge up.
Don't expect a full phone charge - this 10WH pack charges my LG G2 up about 35%. Best bet in my experience is charge it until the light starts slow flashing green (takes a few hours) then charge your phone. Then do it again, meaning 70% charge a day.
Also, don't stick it on your dash board on in your conservatory - you need to actually point it at the sun with nothing blocking the light.
I use this every day and I love it.
nice looking kit but doesnt work all that well, 30 September 2013

Got this whilst on a cycle tour in uk. Looks good and foldout design is quite nice. Tie loops are good for attaching to bags and panniers.
Package isnt waterproof though so use is limited by weather.
I had mine running all day on back of a bike with frequent adjustment to get the most out of the sun. Even with thus I still only managed to charge battery enough to get a 20/30% charge into a phone.
If cycle touring I would recommend a hub dynamo instead but for backpacking I may be the only option. If you use electrical stuff a lot you would be hard pushed to get things charged. Maybe the larger model would work better but its more expensive and bigger.
