JUST AMAZING, 03 September 2011
By NJ
i am a cadet who has used these stoves a lot they are very lightweight and compact they get the job done no messing round with gas and hoping your gas doesnt run out because if do you run out of fuel to burn you can just put a bit of wood to burn instead , they can be setup anywhere in any weather just pop on a mess tin or pot and start cooking , BUT take a re-sealable bag because the fuel has a strong smell of fish but overall an AMAZING product

Cheap, Light, Quick, 28 July 2011
By La Adelita (Devon)
I have used these stoves many times.
Quick to set up anywhere and weather, no messing around with gas etc. Easy to light.
Usually needs a wind guard of some kind. Do not place too near tent! Needs to be on a hard surface or will burn grass. Expect a black pot! Poor weather can eat up fuel tablets. Quick to move on, no need to wait for it to cool down, dip into cold water and pack up.
Always got one in the bottom of my pack.

poor quality, 19 June 2011
By ajb1275 (southampton)
After many years of use and abuse my old army hexy burner gave out, fair enough it had a good run. Hexy burners much of a muchness right? wrong. after 1 use the metal on this deformed and would not close correctly. After second use the rivets holding it together popped out. After that good for the bin. Not a substitute for the real thing!
