My husband and I are new to the camping game we went to go outdoors in plymouth this was a tent that we both liked the look of instantly the price tag was pleasing as was the ease of putting it up so we decided to buy it unfortunately it was the only one left the one up on display we chanced it and decided to buy. They packed it all away for us and gave us a pump to go with it as the one that should have been with it was lost in store. We went away to the north of Devon to watermouth cove which is a nice little camp site managed to pitch it all up fine. All was well until it started to rain heavy down pours and high winds.
The out side door has no zip along the bottom just one flimsy piece of velcro which in high winds was instantly torn open allowing the wind and rain inside the tent. The middle tubes on both sides let in water and there was no repair kit in the bag . It's a nice roomy tent but the front door is very badly designed we will be returning this to the shop on our return. There are not extra extentions that you can buy either to extend or to protect the poor design of the front door!!

1. there is to keep the door closed. This lets in water and when windy is no protection at all from the weather. Could do with zips all the way around the door as per the inside bug net,
2.Fixing points for pegs around the ‘skirt’ of the tent , only one point in the centre, this could do with another fixing point either side of the middle point to even out the tension on the tent sides,
3. The Hydrostatic Head (mm): for the fly sheet and the ground sheet is only 2000, pretty poor. Most other tents around this price are 5000 and 6000 HHmm.
4. No canopy or extension porch available with this tent and no compatible porch in any other make. This tent really needs a canopy as the design of the front entrance allows rain to enter when going in or out.
5. Two further guy ropes at the front of the tent to ‘run’ forward would have helped to stabilise the tent a little more. In high wind conditions the front and middle air beams did not hold the tent in a stable condition.
6. Could do with a purposely designed fixed point entry for electric cable, had to bring cable in through front door which meant the bug screen was not able to be closed at night.
Overall I wish I had looked more carefully at this tent before I purchased it. Very disappointed.

I bought this tent to take my grandchildren camping on my own and didn't want to have to have the usual struggle with tent poles. It is amazingly easy to put up and peg out. It took less than 10 mins which included pegging out the groundsheet.
It had its first trip last week, I left the bedroom as 1 and there was enough room for a double and a single blow up mattress with room inbetween. Living area was light with all the windows and screen door and very spacious - I had a table and 3 chairs up continuously, along with clothes bags, cooler box and games.. I am not sure how it would handle 5 people, but experience has taught me you nearly ALWAYS need to go up at least 1 person in tent size for your needs.
Really easy and quick to put away, I spent more time talking to admiring bystanders about how quick and easy it was to put up/down than actually doing the job.
When packed away it is a fairly big bag, but I managed quite easily on my own.
I have only given 4 stars as I have not experienced the tent in rain yet. Will edit my review once I know how it stands up to heavy rain/high winds.
I have already recommended this tent to others.

Overall a good tent. Not too heavy, appears to be waterproof (see below), easy to inflate/set up.
There is one problem. As an earlier reviewer said the front door is not very good at keeping the rain out. You HAVE to zip up the inner mesh door then zip up the outer door. This causes tension on the outer door which helps keep it waterproof at the bottom. If you don't zip up the inner mesh door then the bottom of the outer door does not close properly and water will pour in through the gap at the bottom. There is only one small Velcro joint at the bottom of the outer door. The manufacturers could have added a couple more or put a full all round zip on the outer door. Saving themselves a few quid in production costs is a disappointment.
