Light and tough walking boots for comfortable, dry feet in any weather.
The Freedom Trail Derwent III Walking Boots
are comfortable, lightweight and waterproof - great for light trails and walking the dog.
They are built with a new waterproof membrane, which keeps your feet dry and allows them to breathe comfortably, whilst wicking away any moisture as you walk.
The outsole has been developed with grip and comfort in mind, incorporating 'Comfort Walk' technology which is ultra-light on those long walks. The deep cleats give you the underfoot confidence on any terrain, having been designed not to clog, and ensuring you leave the trail on the trail.
The upper has been constructed to reduce weight and give the boot durability and strength, whilst the padded ankle collar will offer support and comfort.
Metal lace loop eyelets and upper lace hooks make the boots very easy to put on or take off, offering great adjustment to let you achieve the fit and tightness that works best for you.

Derwent boot a personal review, 19 April 2017
By Brenden (Erdington)
I already have some more serious walking boots and was looking for a cheap pair of wellingtons to go for wet muddy fun walks with my family in Sutton Park and other local parks and nature parks. Well to cut a long story short i just could not get on with wellies sliding up and down the backs of my ankles, enter the Derwent boot. I tried the boot on and it felt comfortable and was just the right height for what needed and was sold as waterproof. This was a couple of months ago and since then the boots have been worn many times mainly in wet mud and soggy grass and I must admit they are doing ok as I am using them as a lace up welly. They are not too comfortable when on paths or tarmac so I borrowed the insole from another pair of boots and that did the trick. If you do walk into a shop and its been raining they can be quite slippy. I have worn these boots in quite wet conditions with at times the boots being in quite deep water and to my surprise they performed quite well and I am really pleased with them. If I wear these boots for more than 6 hours or so I do notice they start to leak a little near the toe areas but this has so far been tolerable. Would I wear these boots to climb Ben Nevis no but would I wear these boots for the purpose I purchased them for yes. I also will be using these boots for camping and visiting music festivals. I will say to people who are thinking of buying these boots to make sure they are fit for the purpose they want to use them for and if they are then these boots will serve them well.
Good boot but needs care, 19 February 2017
By Dormouse (Basingstoke)
I bought this boot about two years ago for clay pigeon shooting a couple of times a week. It has been both comfortable and waterproof up until now, when it has begun to crack on the upper leather and now lets in water. I would recommend this to anyone but with the following suggestions. At this price either be prepared to replace the boot every couple of years, or buy some product to keep the top of the boot from cracking and feed it regularly. I polished mine but polish isn't sufficient. It needs something to really feed it and stop the cracking. I'm going to buy another's pair -and a big tin of Dubbin. Worth it for the price, and it may last longer.

Normally buy Brashers (since the 80’s), quality of which has been up and down. Decided to buy a ‘cheap’ pair of boots and see how they go.
It’s been 2.5 months now and all appears well, warm and waterproof, you can feel a fair bit through the soles so perhaps not so good for lumpy ground.
Bought for £35, when the price went down again I bought another two pairs. Enough said.
