I bought this set initially just for dog walking on rainy nights, however I have started using them on hikes around the local area.
Despite the fact they are only thin over garments, they stop quite a bit of wind chill and are highly waterproof.
They are easily stowed in a bag side pocket or even external to your pack as they come in a waterproof bag too.
The jacket also comes with a fold away toggle hood, that fits snugly round the face. The jacket and trousers have adequate ventilation on the right areas to stop too much moisture on the inside of the suite on warmer days.
The trouser length is also adjustable, with pop fasteners and fit well around the ankle of boots.
All in all a very good cheap waterproof option, for not a lot of cost - all the family now have them!
