The first thing you notice with this pack is the amazing attention to detail. every strap every seem even every stich has been designed with no compromise.The ergonomics of this bag are awesome, everything is where it should be, very intuative and easy to use. The comfort is also supurb, outclassing anything osprey and lowe alpine can come up with. I have the 2010 green and grey version, but on the face of it the colour is all they have changed for this year, a good move i would say. Deuter must be familiar with the phrase "if it aint broke dont fix it".

I bought this pack having spent an hour pondering over which one to buy. This pack ticked all my boxes and is very user friendly.
My Platypus hydration system fits a treat and it's extremely comfortable to wear and keeps my back cool.
