Great multi purpose rucksack, 16 August 2011

I bought this in the view of using it for its sole purose as a daypack for walking.
I now use it to accompany me on outdoor climbing trips. I can fit inside my helmet, my lunch which goes in the bottom comparment. I use the bladder storage part at the back to put all my quickdraws inside, perfect, keeps them away from the other parts and the velcro strip keeps them hung up fro easy access.
The adjustable elastic for the walking poles I use to hang my climbing shoes on for airation after a hard days climb! The downside is that the fabric starting to tear slightly due to the pulling of the elastic through the holes, but I have modified this by adding in eyelets to these holes, works just as well for the purpose I need.
The side pockets are pefrect to fit my sigg in also.
The small front pocket fits my sun creams in nicely.
Fitting in my DSLR camrea and spare lense is also no problem!
Funnily enough I have a deuter rope bag which matches nicley to this daypack.
Oh and the pretty flower is also a nice touch!
